When Nazim asked if I could shoot part of his wedding, I was thrilled at the opportunity. The weddings and engagements I have photographed in the past were filled with so many moments of happiness, love, and excitement that I always found myself fully engaged as the time flew by. I knew this wedding would be that, if not better.
I met Nazim playing softball and we spent the majority of the games talking about photography, instead of paying attention to the ball. But in our defense, our team never won a game so there wasn’t much point in paying attention. When the wedding day came, and I met him and his beautful bride Shazeen in Temecula, there was no tension between myself and them because we were already friends. Nazim helped come up with great ideas on poses for himself and Shazeen, and also for the rest of the wedding party.
The whole event flew by, and when it was all over I had some delicious home-made indian food. I look forward to working on photography projects with Nazim in the future. And of course, congratulations to both Nazim and Shazeen, you two are really great for each other!
