California was my home for many years. This collection takes you from the coast of Los Angeles, up through Big Sur, into Yosemite National Park where Ansel Adams inspired us all, and finally to the lush forests and gardens of Oregon.
I lived in Los Angeles and loved to spend time near the ocean. Several photographs in this collection are from the beach towns surrounding Los Angeles: Manhattan Beach, Santa Monica, Laguna Beach, and Palos Verdes.
If you travel north from Los Angeles along the Pacific Coast Highway (PCH) you will experience one of the most amazing coastlines in the world. Big Sur runs 90 miles from Hearst Castle up to Point Lobos. Bixby Bridge, the Lone Cypress, and McWay Falls are landmarks that take your breath away.
